We believe the best care happens when we grow our staff to be excellent care partners. MHS invests significant resources to educate and empower staff to live out relationship-based care in their everyday practices. We call our staff care partners because they work in partnership with one another, the elders, and family members to provide relationship-rich, elder-centered care. All staff including nursing, housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, laundry, business office, etc are care partners, committed to serving the Elders.
Care partners throughout all of MHS care communities are educated on current clinical best practices as well as The Principles of The Eden Alternative. Our empowered care partners develop relationships with the Elders and engage them as the decision makers of their care and establishing their preferred routine.
MHS is looking for individuals interested in joining our care partner team. Working in a care community is a challenging and rewarding experience. In 2011 MHS adopted the following core qualities for our care partner staff. On-going education and support is provided to staff to ensure that they are growing these qualities in their daily work life.
