Mission at Maple Springs
Mission at Maple Springs Overview
Serving the Brigham Community, Maple Springs is an award winning home providing excellence in nursing care and state of the art therapy. Enjoy individual suites in a private wing, flat screen TV’s, cable, flexible dining, and free WIFI.
Our Therapy to Home program focuses on you as an individual, rather than on your disease or disability. We start by collaborating with you to create a plan based on your own goals for recovery. Our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, registered dieticians, and recreational therapists work with you to develop a therapy strategy based on your preferences, needs, and well-being to get you on the road to recovery.
After successfully completing therapy, our staff will conduct a safety evaluation of your residence and advise you on additional safety needs to support you through your transition home. Our therapists will even instruct you and family members on ways of keeping mobility once you are home, setting you up for success!
Our Lighthouse Memory Care starts with providing a home, not an institution. Your loved one’s personal space is filled with familiar items, and our activities are designed to be meaningful. Our homes take into consideration your loved one’s hobbies and interests, combined with the life skills they learned throughout their lives. “Meaningless activity corrodes the human spirit; doing things that are meaningful is essential to .” We provide opportunities for your loved one to continue to give care to others and their environment. Activities include exercise, sensory, outings, gardening clubs, cooking clubs, drum circles, and music and memory programs.
All staff are trained in memory care and are provided tools to help residents maintain a sense of belonging and security.
